In 2017, about 1 year before our newest mobile App ‘Charades’ was about
to be released, we lost the use of our backend services (PARSE).
Although open sourced, we needed a list of adjustments so we could host
the platforms ourselves. JLM Tech Consulting Services LLC was hired in
2018 to suggest which cloud service to use and how to integrate that
with PARSE. JLM Tech Consulting Services LLC suggested AWS and walked
the team through how we can integrate with PARSE for scalability. PARSE
also required it’s own MongoDB instance. JLM Tech Consulting Services
LLC set that up for us based on how PARSE was expecting MongoDB
instances to used (a very specific feature of PARSE).

but our requirements were specific to an open source SDK which they had
to learn and manipulate without any support. The rapid response helped

Since 2014, JLM Tech consulting has been providing Bimbo Bakeries USA the most up to date
technical solutions for the migration from legacy AS400 mainframes to a new tech stack
using java and micro service architecture. The staff at JLM Tech helped us migrate more than 70% of
the legacy mainframe applications to a new techincally sound solution with difficult timelines and
tight budgets as their constraints. The JLM Tech organization assisted us with all aspects of the software
systems solution from pitching a new architecture to bringing devops CI/CD to aws cloud migration
from on premise data centers. They advised upper management on the best approaches to move forward
with all product and technical based solutions for multiple departments.
We have been very happy with the multi-year service they provided to us during our numerous attempts
at migrating from legacy mainframes to a new breadth of technology from different vendors which were epic failures.
